Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in as a protein? Or be turned to gold? In this presentation for Sip of Science we will be using simple models to study material properties. The only catch is - the audience is the material. (Non destructive tests only). Together we will explore the possibilities (and limitations) of using toy models to describe everything from melting temperatures of metal to conformations of proteins.
