About event
A few degrees extra during the growing season of the temperate crops, source of our food, decrease dramatically the amount of produced seeds. Our research team investigates how warm temperatures impair plant reproduction and seed formation in two related plant species, Arabidopsis thaliana and Brassica napus. We combine genetics, microscopy, biotechnology, and molecular biology to understand how the flowers and seeds react to warm temperatures to find solutions for plant thermoresilience.
