The theme of this year's Researcher's Night is Mobility – World in Motion.
CEITEC will present your science in various activities.
- Visitors will try out lab work and isolate their own DNA from their saliva using a simple protocol.
- A maze depicting a cell environment with small activities along the path that will illustrate in the processes of cell infestation and virus multiplication.
- Minor experiments explaining the principles of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (Meisner's levitation experiment, a demonstration of spin relaxation on balls) and how we use this method to discover the structure of proteins. Examples of protein structures themselves (video and printed 3D protein structures).
