Bio
Michal Mikl is the head of the Multimodal and Functional Imaging Laboratory (MAFIL) at CEITEC Masaryk University.
He specializes in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and other neuroimaging techniques, which he uses to map brain functions and study neurological disorders. His work focuses on optimization of measurement and processing of fMRI data. Under his leadership, the laboratory provides technological support for both academic and commercial research projects and offers unique capabilities for simultaneous measurements using two state-of-the-art MRI scanners.
Michal Mikl is the author or co-author of numerous scientific publications. His work significantly contributes to the advancement of neuroscience research in the Czech Republic and internationally.
