It will be a pleasure and an honor to host the 10th EMSLIBS here in Brno, in the heart of the south Moravian region of the Czech Republic.
On the way from Vienna to Prague, Brno has historically always been a strategically important city. Now its status is rising again due to the targeted investments in the research and technological parks. Tradition in development of basic and applied research, this city has the potential to create an exceptional hub for future science. Having this in mind, we will be proud to welcome researchers from all over the world, coming to share ideas and knowledge not only on laser ablation itself but also its interdisciplinary applications. The official program, that will comprise oral presentations, invited presentations, topical lectures, and permanent poster exhibition, the meeting will provide social events in order to encourage networking and informal discussions between participants.
