A unique patch for deep burns is being developed by scientists from the CEITEC BUT research center in Brno. The material used to cover the wound consists of two layers - the lower part speeds up healing, the upper layer of hydrogel prevents the wet skin from getting damaged. In addition, the patch is completely transparent. This allows the doctor to observe the progress of the treatment without having to re-tie the place.
