Venue: Professor Brauner's auditorium
Professor Brauner's auditorium at Technická 12, 612 00 Brno. The auditorium became the dominant feature of the entire campus. It is a dome-shaped space with a capacity of 300 students and dimensions of 15 by 27 meters. It was named after Professor Jiří Brauner, historically the second dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
Lunches at Jídelna 100 chutí
- Location: Kolejní 14, 612 00 Brno-Královo Pole
Lunch during the workshop will be provided at Jídelna 100 chutí, offering a selection of four different meals each day. One of the options will always be vegetarian.
Participants can also enjoy soup and a drink as part of their meal. More details on the daily menu will be available at the event.

First Evening: ICE BREAKER at the Technical Museum Brno

Join us for an engaging evening at the Technical Museum Brno, where you can explore Brno’s long-standing tradition of engineering and technological excellence. The programme includes a banquet and a guided tour.
How to Get There:
By Tram: Take TRAM No. 12 from the city center towards Technologický park and get off at Technické Muzeum.
Second Evening: Social evening at Stará Radnice (Old Town Hall)

Experience the historic charm of Brno’s Old Town Hall, where you can climb the historic tower and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the entire city. The programme includes a banquet and czech traditional band.
How to Get There:
- By Tram: Trams No. 4, 9, or 10 stop at Zelný trh, just a short walk from the venue. Or Trams No. 5, 6, 12, stop Šilingrovo Náměstí.
- By Foot: The Old Town Hall is located in the city center and is easily accessible from most hotels.
Excursion
- Location: by bus from the venue
- Date & Time: April 3rd, 2025; 14:00
To connect Brno’s past with its present innovations, we have also organized a Thursday excursion to leading companies specializing in electron microscopes, showcasing the city's role in science and industry. You can choose from Thermo Fisher Scientific, Delong Instruments, Tescan. Departure will be from the venue by bus and in the end return to the venue.
