2016

CEITEC BUT has started the full service of its laboratories

The Pod Palackého vrchem area sponsors research programs focused on advanced materials and advanced nanotechnology and microtechnology.

2014

CEITEC MU has opened pavilions for life sciences and medicine

Two new pavilions for scientific teams focusing on the research of biologically important molecules, evolution, and genetic equipment of plants, as well as the human mind and human health.

2012

The CEITEC construction was started by laying the foundation stones

With the foundation stone laying ceremony, the construction of CEITEC began. CEITEC is the only research center in the Czech Republic connecting the life science and material science.

2011

CEITEC – Central European Institute of Technology begins its activities

On 6 June 2011, the European Commission approved a budget of 5.2 billion Czech crowns to finance the institute.

2010

CEITEC is the best among big projects

CEITEC received ninety-nine points from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports. The highest number of points from the submitted projects.
